2011_Star People

We are all 'star seeds', or 'star people' as we all have lived in many realities in many planetary systems and in higher realms as other life forms. So here we are, star seeds, souls sparks on a mission, trapped for NOW in a physical experience.

DJ Badass met the records very early in his life when he was only 10 years during school events and concerts.
Four years after his first contact with records, he starts to work with radio station RKM 101.4 in Kutina, giving his contribution to the electronic music scene, which in that time, 1994, was in its beginnings. His show "SupremeFunk FM", became one of the rare links between Kutina's music scene and electronic music, within the period of only few years.
That same show brought him into the RAM club, where he acts as resident DJ once a month, but it provide him with a number of other performance opportunities.

Magic Grooves, Essence, Back to the future 2000, Essential, Euphoria, Futurescope e.g. Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Osijek, Maribor, Rijeka are just some of them.
After all these performances, Stylish in Aquarius was understandable and logical continuation with resident DJ position.

Meanwhile he has become Futurescope resident in OTV Club where he shared decks with Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, David Duriez, Farley Jackmaster Funk, A.T.F.C., Tony Hewitt, Terry Lee Brown Jr., Alison Marks, Dave Mothersole, Get Fucked, Nathan Scott, Nathan Coles, Nills Hess, Gordon Edge, Terry Francis, Robin Porter and others.

After 2 years break from radio, he is back on track with new one, stronger than ever before.
Blacksoul Music FM radio show is broadcasting every monday from 21:00 till 00:00 since September / 2003 but this time on best Croatian electronic radio, Radio Cibona 93.6 & 104.5 MHz with its headquarter in Zagreb.

Badass himself, would be interested to fans of this kind of music even for his producer side. "Ivan Kapec - Mirabile (blacksouls rmx)", "Faithless : Muhammed Ali (blacksoul rmx)", "Phonophunk : The Big Spliff (blacksoul deep dub)", "Elemental: Big City tempo (blacksoul deep mix)" , “Norken - Southern Soul (blacksoul remix)” , Nigel Hayes : Movin On (blacksoul remixes) are just small part of his producers' work .
From this side of his work, few foreign published pieces are expected, known by recognized Badass / Blacksoul style with jazz, house, breaks, deep and funk elements.

Coming into 2004 like founder and owner of a new deep house label Blacksoul Music Tomislav is ready to infect world dance music scene with his unique production.

Carl Sagan on Pot

This account was written in 1969 for publication in "Marihuana Reconsidered (1971)". Sagan was in his mid-thirties at that time. He continued to use cannabis for the rest of his life.
The cannabis experience has greatly improved my appreciation for art, a subject which I had never much appreciated before. The understanding of the intent of the artist which I can achieve when high sometimes carries over to when I'm down. This is one of many human frontiers which cannabis has helped me traverse. There also have been some art-related insights - I don't know whether they are true or false, but they were fun to formulate. For example, I have spent some time high looking at the work of the Belgian surrealist Yves Tanguey. Some years later, I emerged from a long swim in the Caribbean and sank exhausted onto a beach formed from the erosion of a nearby coral reef. In idly examining the arcuate pastel-colored coral fragments which made up the beach, I saw before me a vast Tanguey painting. Perhaps Tanguey visited such a beach in his childhood. A very similar improvement in my appreciation of music has occurred with cannabis. For the first time I have been able to hear the separate parts of a three-part harmony and the richness of the counterpoint. I have since discovered that professional musicians can quite easily keep many separate parts going simultaneously in their heads, but this was the first time for me. Again, the learning experience when high has at least to some extent carried over when I'm down. The enjoyment of food is amplified; tastes and aromas emerge that for some reason we ordinarily seem to be too busy to notice. I am able to give my full attention to the sensation. A potato will have a texture, a body, and taste like that of other potatoes, but much more so. Cannabis also enhances the enjoyment of sex - on the one hand it gives an exquisite sensitivity, but on the other hand it postpones orgasm: in part by distracting me with the profusion of image passing before my eyes. The actual duration of orgasm seems to lengthen greatly, but this may be the usual experience of time expansion which comes with cannabis smoking.

DJ's_electronic producer_I:CUBE

French techno/house producer I:Cube (aka Nicholas Chaix), along with such artists as Air, Motorbass, and Daft Punk, was one of the most hyped underground acts on Paris' resurging dance scene during 1996-97 (with the difference that, instead of the industry, it was those artists doing the hyping). Similar in some respects to his colleagues, I:Cube's near-comprehensive fusion of the range of minimal electronic dance musics -- a molten concoction of funk, soul, electro, trance, Chicago house, and Detroit techno -- first surfaced through the "Disco Cubism" single (on popular Parisian DJ Gilb-R's Versatile label) in 1996. Made all the more amazing by the discovery that it was the work of a teenage schoolboy, the single's popularity was upped considerably by the full-length debut, Picnic Attack, which appeared the following year. Informed by a heavy dose of driving, minimal, trance-oriented techno, the album helped distinguish I:Cube's style from that of his more press-hounded countrymates (and attracted a fair amount of hounding on its own). A surprising and consistently inventive release, the album (along with Daft Punk's Homework and the Sourcelab label compilations) gave considerable weight to the notion that Paris' dance underground is among the least stylistically segregated around, producing innovative, compositionally accomplished music both clear in focus and broad in scope. Adore, an album that pleased the dance floor and couch heads, followed in 2000. Around the album's release he released a collaberation with DJ Gilb-R as Chateau Flight. DJ's_Mark Ash

Mark Ash started to show interest in music from an early age and it was only a matter of time till he started mixing different records he had been collecting, on a pair of decks he had at the age of 11. His DJ career started in a small club, on island called "Rab" back in 1996. At the same time he had his own electronic dance music show on a local radio called 'Arbassential', where he was hosting many local DJ's and producers. As soon as he moved to "Rijeka", he became a resident in Rijeka's most famous club "Fun Academy" (ex Quorum Colours), then laters on Mark was also holding a resident spot in club "Colosseum" and another monthly residency at one of the most exciting Thursday nights in Croatia called "Silence" in club "Hobbiton". Helped out alot in development of electronic music scene in his town thru some very well listened radio shows on Rijeka's local Radio stations. Founded the first Record Shop in Rijeka called Muzikum Record Store, where he raised lots of upcoming DJ's providing them with the best music on market. He is also a part of "BalanceFM" project alongside his best mate " Lemon". The duo’s arranging different parties around Croatia and making one of the most respectable names for themselves on the local Croatian night life scene.

Zvukbroda was founded by Ivan Slipčević and Tomislav Domes. In 2000 they started performing their music and visuals live at net.culture club Mama. Soon they initiated, together with other artists performing at the club, the first copyleft label in Croatia - EGOBOO.bits.

Zvukbroda is a prominent name on the Croatian clubbing scene with performances in a large number of music events and festivals.
Their music can be defined as deep house.

stereo studio is a music, dance, drive, passion, event... stereo studio is a club programme with a new approach in the presentation of electronic dance music. besides quality music, stereo studio gives special attention to the visual aspects of the project. flyers, posters, video-projections and light effects in a club are a part of the whole concept at the all stereo studio events. this is complemented by the appearances of the big and not big names from the global and local electronic music scene. the first stereo studio designers team "numen" was responsible for the entire visual identity of early happening. their grand prix award at the zagreb design fair has greatly contributed to the high realization quality of these events. the top zagreb djs felver, frajman and kiki initiated the project on 1 october 1999. since the first 1999/2000 season, stereo studio team has organized many memorable happenings until now. this was held primarily in their residential club tvornica and at other good locations in zagreb, for example in "dom hdlu" (aka the mosque), and also at the adriatic coast tours. through its work, the project helped zagreb and croatia to be engraved onto the map of eminent european club centres. stereo studio hosted some of the most quality and famous performers of the electronic music scene: jeff mills, sven vath, ian pooley, gemini, terry francis, pure science, "evil" eddie richards, richard gray, dave mothersole, gideon jackson, steve o'sullivan, jasper dahlback, stephan grieder, mitja prinz, dixon, radyoyo breakbeat crew, swayzak, james ruskin, oliver ho, umek, valentino kanzyani, richard bartz, ltj bukem & mc conrad, e-z rollers, grant dell, dj ali, tyler stadius and many others. stereo studio has brought together a wide range of dedicated audience. this is due to attractive foreign and domestic djs and music producers and their hip performances, entireness of the audio-visual expression and exceptional environment at various event locations.
